COMEDY fans could do no worse than head off to the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, which has just unveiled its autumn programme.

Dillie Keane will be performing My Brilliant Divorce on September 25, a funny and touching play about love, loss and a mid-life crisis.

Paddy McGuinness makes a welcome return to the theatre on Wednesday, October 1, with his new show, Plus You Live!

Yorkshire funnyman Billy Pearce brings his Adult Only Show to the main stage on October 3.

Then on October 6 Jimmy Carr is back in town with Joke Technician, followed by hot property Frankie Boyle appearing on October 11.

Music fans will not be disappointed with a list from rock ’n’ roll and blues to country and folk music.

Folk singer Kate Rusby performs her spellbinding music on Sunday, September 28, and then on Thursday, October 9, the legendary Stiff Little Fingers will lift the roof off the theatre with their phenomenal hits.

Maximum Rhythm ’n’ Blues brings together the talents of The Manfreds and their special guests, Alan Price and Maggie Bell, for an evening of their non-stop classics on Saturday, November 8.

For younger audiences there is CBeebies Let’s Play, a musical adventure starring Pc Plum, Postman Pat, Jess The Cat, Tamba, Bill and Ben and Tommy Zoom, plus many more.

This show is on for three days from Friday, October 17.

The English National Ballet performs Angelina’s Star Performance in four performances on November 4 and 5.

Panto Jack and The Beanstalk takes the theatre into the new year from December 15 to January 3.
