SIX artists are joining forces to showcase their work in the Colne Valley.
Jane Galvin, of Slawit Studio, is hosting Artline09.
Art work will be on display and visitors can talk to the artists over the open weekend of November 7/8.
Painter Jane said: “We’ve been here for three years. Last year we organised an open weekend and so many people were saying how nice it was to have something like that in the Colne Valley.”
“It’s a chance for us and several other artists to showcase our work and it gives people the chance to see what we do.”
Jane, who paints moody, atmospheric landscapes and colourful flowers, will co-host the event with her husband Mick Corton, a photographer who is currently capturing the town’s rich industrial heritage.
They will be joined by artists Jean York, Rebecca Heywood, Mary Lane and sculptor Mister Burnley.
Artline09 runs at Slawit Studio, 58 Carr Lane, Slaithwaite on November 7/8 from 11am until 5pm. Admission is free and it’s open to all.
