DEWSBURY Museum is hosting a group exhibition by the Northorpe Watercolour Society.

The society was created by artists Richard Gawthorpe and Alan Goodall who are exhibiting in the show alongside 13 other members. The exhibition will run until September 23.

Alan, who lives in West Yorkshire and is well known among the local art community, will lead a watercolour workshop on Saturday, July 14.

He has built an excellent reputation for his expertise in watercolour painting. Self taught, Alan has exhibited widely including numerous shows for the British Watercolour Society in Ilkley. He is a member of the British Watercolour Society and a Fellow of the International Guild of Artists.

His workshop, Pen and Wash Monochromes, will run from 10am to 4pm and is aimed at beginners and improvers. Advance booking is essential at £20. Details from Dewsbury Museum on 01924 325100.
