The all-female band Boobs and Brass will share the stage with the famous Brighouse and Rastrick Band at a major concert in Huddersfield Town Hall on October 25.

The concert, which will be conducted by Alan Morrison, is part of the Massed Bands series, which B&R has staged twice a year since 1946.

It will be the fourth concert featuring Boobs and Brass in the past six years and will raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign.

Boobs and Brass was founded in Nottinghamshire in 2006 and is dedicated to breast cancer charity work. So far it has raised more than £150,000. The concert, which has been sponsored by Brighouse company Severn Unival is to be conducted by Alan Morrison and will feature classics such as Nimrod, Rule Britannia, Fantasy on British Sea Songs and the 1812 Overture.
