Artists from all over West Yorkshire will be exhibiting in a pop-up gallery in Huddersfield this weekend, as part of the Festival of Light celebrations.

Members of the ARTbound community, a group launched by Halifax photographer Meg Oxford, have taken over a former charity shop at 60 John William Street where 20 artists are showing their work. ARTbound, which brings together independent artists and makers from all over the region, is also occupying an empty unit in the Packhorse Centre where artist Sharon Hiley and Emma Collinson are working on a light installation, commissioned by the art group and supported by the Arts Council.

Further funding support has allowed ARTbound to run family workshops at Huddersfield Art Gallery from 10am until 3pm tomorrow.

The two shop units are open today until around 5pm, tomorrow from 10am until 5pm and on Sunday from 11am until 4pm.
