A SERIES of dancers will lay bare the mechanics of dance theatre in their forthcoming show at the LBT.

‘If We Go On’ is the latest tour of the Vincent Dance Theatre, currently celebrating 15 years of original, compelling and provocative dance theatre.

Through miniature dances and stuttering songs, If We Go On embraces uncertainty and hesitancy with a dark, intelligent humour.

An ensemble of multitasking performers morph words into movement, shunt gesture into sound and sometimes burst into song during their performance.

This season features one of the company’s most experienced casts to date.

Alongside Vincent Dance Theatre’s core company members – Aurora Lubos, Janusz Orlik and Patrycja Kujawska – are Valentina Formenti, composer and musician Alex Catona, Henry Montes, Scott Smith and Carly Best.

The company will be at the Lawrence Batley Theatre next Wednesday, February 24, starting at 7.30pm.
