HEPWORTH Band returns to the concert platform with a blockbusting programme of film and show music.
Music from Stage and Screen is the band’s first concert of the new year. It is at St Paul’s Hall in Huddersfield on Sunday February 6 at 7pm.
The concert will feature a programme of film and show blockbusters, with music from the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, the Lion King, the Wizard of Oz, Jurassic Park and West Side Story together with epic themes from prolific composers for stage and screen.

The band’s spring season also includes Requests and Dedications which offers concertgoers a chance to request or dedicate a favourite piece to be included in the programme.
That concert is also at St Paul’s and the date is Sunday April 17.
The band’s summer concert will be at Hepworth village on Saturday July 16, with an outdoor Summer Proms concert complete with a ‘Last Night of the Proms’ finale and fireworks.
And to round off the season, the band returns to St Paul’s on October 2 for the final concert of the series Hymns of Praise, which will feature a programme of sacred music, favourite hymns and music by Salvationist composers.
