SPEND a couple of hours in the sunshine on Sunday listening to Meltham and Meltham Mills Band.
They will be playing in Beaumont Park from 2pm to 4.30pm. It’s a chance too to enjoy all the work that has been going on to renovate the park.
Good news too from the band in that they are still able to call on the expertise of their former conductor Stuart Fawcett.
He stood down last year after 10 happy years as the band’s musical director. Now he is using his skills to help rejuvenate the Junior Band. And he sounds to be enjoying it.
