MELTHAM and Meltham Mills Band should be in the mood to celebrate having just had another win, this time at the Yorkshire Regional Championships in Bradford.
The band were crowned Yorkshire Area First Section Champions after beating 11 bands to pole position.
This is the band’s highest achievement since 1990, and they will now go on to the National Finals in Harrogate in September as Yorkshire's representative along with Hebden Bridge Band.
The weekend’s win follows their remarkable result at the Mineworkers Championships just five weeks ago.
