ELIZABETH Harrison is a woman of many talents – she’s an graphic designer, signwriter, HGV driver and gardener.

But see her in her role as organist when she takes to the pew at the Rex Cinema in Elland.

The 34-year-old, who has lived on a working farm in Chorley all her life, has been playing the organ since she was fifteen and has performed at more than 100 venues.

Trained by John Broadbent, son of Ernest of Blackpool Tower fame, she has achieved the North West Organist of the Year award.

Her principal occupation is playing the organ.

See her at the August organ concert at the Rex cinema, Elland, on Sunday, August 21, at 2.30pm.

A short film novelty will be included in the programme and tea and biscuits will be available in the interval as well as ice-cream and other confectionery.
