TWO choirs for the price of one ticket.

That’s what is on offer tomorrow when Marsh Ladies team up with Honley Male Voice Choir for a summer concert at Huddersfield Methodist Mission.

The Ladies’ programme will include traditional favourites such as Shenandoah and Linden Lea alongside the more upbeat Fly Me To The Moon and the real swing of All That Jazz.

They will be conducted by their musical director Paul Dewhurst and accompanied by Kim Kaye.

The men will be under the baton of Alan Jenkins and accompanied by John Oldfield.

Both are due to step down from their respective roles with the choir at the end of the year.

The Honley men’s programme will open with March Of the Priests, followed by Seeds Of Love, Evening’s Pastoral and Softly As I Leave You.

Their soloists will include tenors Raymond Steel, Philip Hardcastle and Danny Bullett as well as the choir’s chairman, bass Norman Mellor.

Tickets are £6 and the concert begins at 7pm.
