Can you find Santa at the Packhorse Centre? Kids eat free at festive scavenger hunt

Kids can hunt for the man in red at a special family afternoon to celebrate the new Packhorse Kitchen.

The Packhorse Centre , in Huddersfield town centre, is hosting a Santa scavenger hunt on Saturday December 19, where youngsters can follow Santa's clues to find special treasure.

The event, running 1.30pm-4.30pm, promises fun family activities — and kids eat free with every adult meal purchased on the day.

Packhorse Kitchen, a £1m food court, has opened after almost a year of work, involving a revamp of the first floor of the shopping centre.

New dining options include El Taco Loco Mexican, Rooster’s southern fried chicken and the Real cafe and bar.

Burger King has also returned to Huddersfield as part of the new food court — and independent food stalls will also be featured.

A new Chinese buffet will also open in the next few days.
