This year Huddersfield Carnival celebrates its 30th anniversary - and has got a bumper line-up to ensure things go with a bang.
The main stage in Greenhead Park has got a host of entertainment from noon until 8pm, hosted by MTV Base presenter MC Kat.

The carnival parade will leave the Hudawi Cultural Centre in Great Northern Street at 1pm on Saturday, dancing its way in a blur of colour to Greenhead Park, where the festivities will run through to the evening.
Steel bands, African drummers and youth groups will all perform in the park, and a fun fair will also run alongside the main stage entertainment.

6.45pm-7.45pm - Tropical Storm (live music band)
7.45pm-7.55pm - guest performances by international artistes
