The main entertainment of the Festival of Light may be taking place on Saturday, but the fun doesn't end there!

The Huddersfield Hat Festival Fringe runs Friday November 28 to Sunday November 30, with entertainment, arts and crafts and live music at 23 venues across Huddersfield.

  • ARTbound ARTfair , 60 John William Street and 8 New Street, 11am-4pm
    A three-day art fair showcasing affordable works by local artists.
  • The Art of Being Human — Lisa Luxx's Spoken Word, CITP shop, top floor, Byram Arade, 4.30pm
    Psychedelic punk poetry celebrating the pleasures of being real (non-virtual) human beings
  • Open Mic Night, Junction Pub, Marsh, 6pm onwards
    Calling all singers, musicians, comedians and poets! Free pint for all performers.
  • Psychoslinkys, Rock Cafe, Ramsden Street, 6.30pm
    A trio from Bradford singing a medley of music from the Beatles to Fleetwood Mac to the Monkeys.
  • Fabrikotion — Samh and Maria Gm, Bar 1:22, New Street, 7.30pm-9.30pm
    An installation of poetry, water, fabric and lights. Exploring the influences behind their new EP, this will be a unique way to experience the ambient, progressive, folktronica sounds.
  • 32 Flavours: Women's Voices, Coffee Evolution, Church Street, 7pm
    Poetry, prose, story and song. Hosted by Rose Condo, featuring Norah Hamill, Jolene Rae-Walsh, Henna Can, Marina Poppa and singing trio Tyranny of the Voice.
