ENJOY a Christmas celebration with Huddersfield Wind Band tomorrow night.

The band will plays at its home base Salendine Nook Baptist Church where it holds its weekly rehearsals.

The band was formed under its present musical director Adrian Baxter in the Eighties.

As its name suggests, it is made up of wind instruments including clarinet, flute, saxophone, oboe, trumpets, euphoniums and so on.

They play a variety of musical styles from classical through military band, film and show music to pieces by contemporary groups and singers.

For tomorrow’s performance (December 17) they will be joined by guests Tromba Mundi.

This group of American musical professionals and academics is having a busy weekend as the play tonight alongside Lindley band in Huddersfield Town Hall.

The Salendine Nook concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £6.
