Sky Atlantic has released these images from season five to whet fans' appetites, featuring characters old and new.
Some familiar faces have changed — while new characters are preparing to step into the fray.
The gallery also features Shelley actress Lena Headey, who will have to fight for power in season five after the murders of both her son, former King Joffrey, and her father Tywin in the last series.
There's new adventures for Tyrion and Arya, who have both fled from King's Landing to escape their fates — and up at The Wall, the Wildlings remain a threat to John Snow and Stannis Baratheon.
