Foodie delights with a festive twist are in store this weekend at Lindley Winter Food Fair.

The third annual fair, which showcases local produce from across Huddersfield , will return to Lindley Infant School on Saturday November 14, 10am-4pm.

More than 20 stalls will offer tasty treats including fudge, pies, cider, chocolate and more , with children's activities and face painting to keep little ones amused.

Visitors can also enjoy food and drink in the fair's cafe area, and will be in prime position to watch the Christmas reindeer parade to Birchencliffe Garden Centre as it makes its way through the village in the afternoon.

There will also be live music performed by students from Huddersfield New College.

Bishop of Huddersfield the Rt Rev Jonathan Gibbs will officially open the fair at 10am, and guests will include MP Jason McCartney and councillors Gemma Wilson and Cahal Burke.

The fair will raise money for St Stephen's Church, Lindley, with £3,000 raised at last year's event.
