It was hailed as a "phenomenal" success, with more than 80 mouth-watering stalls and food from around the world.

Last year's Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival saw tens of thousands of visitors flock to St George's Square for the four day event.

Organisers hailed record numbers of foodies sampling tasty treats including Caribbean dishes, French cuisine, Mexican fare and exotic meats.

The event also featured cheeses, breads, cakes, ciders, and homemade ice-cream, plus real ales, brandy, exotic meats and the best selection of local restaurant dishes.

A number of bands also played in the square on Friday and Saturday nights.
