There will be award-winning pies, spicy curries, foaming pints and plenty more grub and drinks for which Yorkshire is famous.

This year's Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival will run from Thursday August 4 until Sunday, August 7.

The event will feature over 90 stalls from a wide variety of businesses offering the best food and drink that the county has to offer.

And for those who like their food local, the Festival has announced that over 90 per cent of the food and drink exhibitors are from Huddersfield or the wider Yorkshire area.

This year's event will feature 25 cookery demonstrations and free children's workshops in both cookery and arts and crafts.

Around 100,000 visitors are expected, making it the largest free festival of food in the whole of Yorkshire.
