She won the hearts (and tastebuds) of the Great British Bake Off judges — and you can see series winner Nadiya Hussain show off her skills in Leeds this week.

The Leeds resident, who beat Ian Cumming and Ramal Ray in this year's final to claim the coveted Bake Off cake stand, is taking part in a food demonstration at the Merrion Centre in Leeds city centre on Thursday December 10.

Shoppers can watch Nadiya cooking, learn some of her top tips, ask her questions and take a selfie with the GBBO winner from 12.30pm in the main mall.

Full-mum Nadiya used to make baked masterpieces for family occasions before taking a leap of faith to enter the Great British Bake Off.

Her creative cakes — including a Soda Pop Cheesecake with a 'floating' can of pop, a chocolate peacock and a stunning red, white and blue wedding cake — impressed judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry — while her fantastic facial expressions went viral.

Since her Bake Off win, Nadiya has been busy with a book tour, signing copies of the series six GBBO recipe book, appearing on television and will also switch on Luton's Christmas lights this year.
