THERE’S a festive night of ballads, songs and carols in store at Waverley Church in Huddersfield tomorrow. (December 10).

Huddersfield Gilbert and Sullivan Society will offer a seasonal mix of music.

Chances are you will have a taste of favourite songs from the G and S shows, plus plenty of your favourite carols.

Tomorrow’s concert is at Waverley Church in Waverley Road, Huddersfield and the music starts at 7.30pm.

Music rehearsals start in nearby Waverley Hall in January for the society’s big, new stage production which will be Yeomen of the Guard.

The show will be staged at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in May.

Casting is almost complete and rehearsals are held each Wednesday.
