A young star will star alongside comedy legends at a big flood fundraising gig.

Teen entertainer Jack Carroll, of Brighouse, is to share a stage with Sarah Millican, Rory Bremner and Justin Moorhouse in the Wring Out The Clowns Comedy Gala at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax on February 8.

They will all give their time for free at the evening show to raise money to help flood-damaged communities such as Brighouse and Elland for Community Foundation For Calderdale and Upper Calder Valley Renaissance.

It is the second time Jack has taken part in a flood fundraiser at the theatre and follows his appearance alongside Cannon and Ball on January 10.

Rory Bremner talked about why he had chosen to get involved.

“To be hit by floods once is devastating.

“To be hit again- and worse- is heartbreaking.

“My heart goes out to the people who’ve had their homes and businesses ruined. But there’s something I can do to help, which is put on a show.” Tickets are priced at £20 and £15 concessions and on sale now from www.victoriatheatre.co.uk or 01422 351158
