THERE’S a chance to hear something different next Tuesday at a lunchtime concert in St Paul’s Hall on the Huddersfield University campus.

Elizabeth Kenny will be playing Jacobean music, masque dances and folk tunes on her lute.

She is considered one of Europe’s leading players of the instrument and has played with many of the world’s best period instrument groups.

Her programme will include The Battle Galliard by Dowland.

The free concert begins at 1.15pm.
