THEY proved such a hit with audiences that they have been asked back.

Audience favourites Voces8 return to open this year’s Kirklees Concert Season’s lunchtime concert season at Dewsbury Town Hall on October 12.Š

The international award-winning octet have established themselves as one of the foremost young British a cappella group.

This will be their third Dewsbury appearance, providing the perfect start to the series.

How could it be anything else with a programme which includes everything from Nat King Cole’s Straighten up and Fly Right to Jailhouse Rock.

This versatile vocal group will also sing music by Bach, Brahms and Tippett.

Voces8 was formed eight years ago by ex-choristers of Westminster Abbey. Since then they’ve travelled the world picking up fans and awards wherever they go.

The group is renowned for its unique interpretations of jazz and pop favourites and theme tunes from the legendary James Bond movies, arranged by Jim Clements
