VILLAGERS have been invited to an evening of music.
Jules Anderson has organised the event at Slaithwaite Conservative Club.
Groups including Whimwise and Band of Oz will play at the gig which is known as The Restoration.
Jules said: “This is the first time I’ve done this. I thought it was important to put something back.
“I want to encourage regeneration of the performing arts in Slaithwaite, boost trade in the village and entertain the residents.”
The Restoration will be headlined by Harvey Bainbridge from the band Hawkwind. The event kicks off at 7pm on Saturday, August 7.
Tickets costing £12.50 are available from the club, Vanilla Bean coffee shop on Carr Lane or Wall of Sound music shop in Huddersfield town centre.
