THERE is a real musical medley in store at Salendine Nook Baptist Church this weekend.
Clifton Handbell Ringers get tomorrow’s concert (Saturday, November 21) off to a resounding start with a selection of pieces chosen to show off the skills of these Brighouse-based ringers.
They will share the billing with local singer and actor Mark Denton who has brought together a group of his friends to sing songs from the shows.
Mark, who teaches music theatre, has appeared with a number of local amateur operatic societies and has brought together a group of young performers that he has worked alongside before.
Expect infectious, enthusiastic performances in an evening of songs from shows by anyone from Irving Berlin through Lloyd Webber to Sondheim. The music begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £5 on the door.
