Headline acts of a large music festival have been announced.

Singer-songwriter Kate Rusby has been confirmed for the Cannon Hall Farm-based Underneath the Stars festival, along with Vieux Farka Touré, who is often referred to as ‘The Hendrix of the Sahara’ and son of legendary Malian guitar player Ali Farka Touré.

Maverick folk group The Demon Barbers XL with their part gig, part dance show, Sligo folk act Dervish and Dublin born singer-songwriter Declan O’Rourke make up the rest of the main announced acts for the July 22 to 24 event.
