Huddersfield metal heroes Evile have ended uncertainty over the band’s future after announcing a new guitarist.
They are now looking forward to a fresh start as a band after around a year of inactivity following the departure of respected member Ol in 2013 who is brother of fellow member, Matt.
Former Fallen Fate member Piers Donno-Fuller will now step into his shoes to help the band get back on the road after they said were forced to cancel a string of gigs planned for September due to creating the new line up.
Speaking about his new role, Piers, who will play his first gig with the band next March, hinted in a TeamRock interview that they now have ‘something in the pipeline’ that they plan to release at the same time.
Evile were founded by school friends Matt and Ben Carter, before being joined by Ol on lead guitar and bass player, Mike Alexander.
Christening themselves Evile in 2004, they were influenced by bands such as Metallica, Sepultura, Exodus, Annihilator and Slayer and quickly gained widespread acclaim, headlining the second stage of Bloodstock Open Air and getting signed, only two years later in 2006.
