A renowned international funk act will hit Huddersfield tomorrow.

Nine piece Israeli act The Apples are to play at The Parish on Kirkgate for one of only three listed UK dates.

Their party-starting big band meets Middle Eastern sound has been winning them fans around the world since they established in 2002, which comprise of a blending of decks, horns, double bass, drums and electronic effects.

Arguably most well known for their cover of Rage Against The Machine’s Killing In The Name Of, they have released five albums, with their most recent, Fly On It, commissioned by Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios for Bowers & Wilkins’ Society of Sound.

They will be supported by Huddersfield act, Deadbeat Brass and doors will open at 7.30pm.
