The crowning jewel of Queen's impressive catalogue of hits will be revealed tonight when ITV airs The Nation's Favourite Queen Song.

The 90-minute special will delve into the bands greatest hits and screen the ultimate top 20 chart of the band's songs, before announcing which single was judged the best by a panel of music lovers from across the UK.

To celebrate the band's musical legacy, the show will explore the origins of their musical success and their inventive videos, with interviews from celebrity fans including Katy Perry, Tony Hadley, Mel C, Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, Al Murray, Noddy Holder, Dame Zandra Rhodes, McFly’s Tom Fletcher, and Arlene Phillips.

The programme will also feature new interviews with band members Brian and Roger, plus archive interviews with the late Freddie Mercury.

The band have racked up almost 50 top 30 hits during their lengthy career - but which one is your favourite?

The countdown of hits by the four-piece band, featuring Brian May on guitar, Roger Taylor on drums, John Deacon on bass and singer and showman Freddie Mercury, will be introduced by show narrator Matt Lucas.

Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley applauds Queen’s songwriting. He said: "I can’t actually think of another band where each member of the band individually wrote top ten songs. That’s incredible."

The Nation's Favourite Queen Song airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
