If you haven't bought your gig tickets for Marsden Jazz Festival, you might want to get a move on.

Three gigs have sold out completely, with another down to its last few tickets.

With less than a week to go until the festival, tickets for Claire Martin and Ray Gelato, Parkin and Hardwick and Olivia May have all gone, with limited tickets left from the Ben Crosland Quintet at Marsden Royal British Legion on Friday.

The Huddersfield-based musician and composer has been commissioned by the festival to perform a jazz interpretation of songs by the Kinks lead singer Ray Davies.

Festival producer Barney Stevenson said with such a fantastic line-up, it was unsurprising shows were selling out.

He added: "We’ll have tickets on sale throughout the festival weekend but if you’ve got your heart set on seeing a particular artist then I’d definitely advise you to book in advance.

"You can order tickets 24 hours a day on our website, or ring our box office on freephone 0800 6125 649 from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and during the festival itself or buy tickets from our shop in the centre of Marsden on Tuesday and Saturday from 9.30am to midday."

Festival goers can take advantage of a ‘four for three’ ticket offer, and get the lowest value ticket(s) free when they book for four different gigs in a single transaction.
