UK reggae dub act Dreadzone have launched part two of their 20th anniversary tour and are heading for Holmfirth.

Formed in 1993 they notched a top 20 hit in 1996 with single Little Britain and were championed by Radio 1 icon John Peel.

The band released their seventh studio album ‘Escapades’ featuring Mick Jones from The Clash and Lena Cullen on vocals, last year.

They play the Picturedrome on Friday, March 21. Doors 7.30pm, tickets £16. Their performance at Hebden Bridge Trades Club is sold out.

US garage rockers Crystal Antlers, are set to round off their short UK tour in Leeds this weekend.

The agile Californian power trio are on British shores in support of their newest album, Nothing Is Real.

“This will be the first tour in Europe for two years, and the first time we’ll be returning to many of these cities since 2009. We’ll of course be playing songs from Nothing Is Real, but plenty of old favourites and new surprises as well,” says the band.

The tour concludes at Brudenell Social Club on Sunday. Doors 7pm. Tickets £8.50 - £10.
