Just over the Pennines, Manchester's Phones4U Arena has got a bumper line-up for 2015, with international stars, homegrown favourites and even shows for the kids.

Global stars Usher, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift are all the bill, as well as — get ready to scream — One Direction.
Peter Kay's award-winning sitcom Phoenix Nights will be adapted for the stage for a series of special live shows, and stars of the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing will also perform at the arena.
And if you fancy a bit of nostalgia, you're in luck, with 80s legends Spandau Ballet and crooners Lionel Ritchie and Neil Diamond on the line-up.
