PADDOCK Orchestra plays its next concert at the Church of Latter Day Saints, Birchencliffe next Saturday.

This is a well established local orchestra which plays at least three concerts every year. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings in Paddock Village Hall.

The orchestra, conducted by Barbara Bancroft, will play Dvorak’s New World Symphony and Der Freischutz Overture by Weber.

They have also included Moszkowski’s Spanish Dances No2 and the Karelia Suite by Sibelius.

The concert begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £6 from Jean Gooden on 01484 661196.

Entry for church members is free.
