PADDOCK Orchestra plays its next concert at Gledholt Methodist Church on November 10 and features a programme of music by European composers.

It will open with La Moldava, one of six symphonic poems written by the Czech composer, Smetana and will continue with Schubert’s Symphony in B Minor (Unfinished).

The musicians have also chosen to play French composer Claude Debussy’s Petite Suite as well as music from the Magic Flute by Mozart and from the Barber of Seville by Rossini.

The concert will be conducted by Barbara Bancroft.

This long established orchestra performs at least three concerts a year and holds rehearsals on Monday evenings at Paddock Village Hall.

Its next major public concert is scheduled to be at Armitage Bridge in March. Further details will be announced later.
