PADDOCK Orchestra plays a programme of classical music that is just right for a spring evening.
So fingers crossed for concertgoers who head to the lovely setting of St Paul’s Church at Armitage Bridge on March 13 to hear the orchestra play at 7.30pm.
This well established local orchestra is conducted by Barbara Bancroft and rehearses every Tuesday at Paddock Village Hall.
At its concert it will play the Overture to the opera Don Giovanni by Mozart as well as the composer’s Mauerische Trauermusik
Talented young musician Rebecca Robertson will feature in the Hummel Trumpet Concerto.
The concert will also feature the popular Clock Symphony by Haydn.
The concert begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £6 (£3 children) on the door.
