HALIFAX Young Singers are back in town tomorrow to show off the musical skills which made them winners at the Mrs Sunderland Music Competition.

The singers won the Youth Choir class and also the Arthur Rooke trophy for outstanding performance of the day at the Mrs Sunderland. Tomorrow they will join Skelmanthorpe Male Voice Choir for a concert at St Paul’s Hall in Huddersfield at 7.30pm.

The Skelmanthorpe choir will be conducted by their new musical director, the singer Jane Hobson, while the Halifax choir will be conducted by Lynn Hudson.
