ACOUSTIC Revolutionaries will feature an electic array of artists performing live.

This month’s event will include pop soul group The Mavis Seed, a new project from beatboxer Ball-Zee, singer songwriter Isaac Grinsdale and Nu Popes and Fat Stanley frontman, Ross Taylor. The Mavis Seed were founded in 2011 by Reedy Zined and Sara Dee, who later brought in Matt Burnside and Tasha McClymont to further enrich their sound.

Act-Play-Drink (Feat Ball-Zee) is a new fusion of vocal percussion, live guitar, bass and vocals. The event will also see the return of Isaac Grinsdale aka The Great Argument, to perform his beautiful guitar arrangements woven into amazing songs.

Finally, Huddersfield’s own Ross Taylor will treat the crowd to some stripped back soul and blues. Acoustic Revolutionaries is at Cafe Ollo, The Media Centre on Wednesday, June 19. Doors 8pm.
