For the best of both worlds, musically speaking, the place to be tomorrow (November 9) is Upperthong.
Head for St John’s Church for a joint concert between ladies choir Vocal Expressions and New Mill Male Voice Choir.
They two choirs have called their concert what else but Best of Both and will each perform favourite items from their extensive repertoires.
Robert Webb, musical director of Vocal Expressions, will sing the hauntingly beautiful Lachrymosa from Howard Goodall’s work, Eternal Light backed by the choir.
