ONE time Inspiral Carpets frontman Tom Hingley, above, is bringing his memoirs show to Scissett.

The event dubbed, Carpet Burns, details his life as lead singer of the band during the 1990s as they rose to be one of the big three bands of the Manchester movement, along with The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays.

Tom will be playing at The Crown, 183 Wakefield Road, Scissett, from 9pm on Thursday.
