US post-rock band City Of Ifa, above, are heading from Holland to Huddersfield for a ‘Mad Friday’ gig.
The Florida group are travelling from Amsterdam today as their European tour with Stoke punk rockers, All The Best Tapes, hits the UK.
Tonight’s gig at The Parish has been added at the last minute after another venue pulled out of hosting the tour.
Parish gig booker, Mikey Baird, said he was delighted to get a call from the band.
He said: “We are always wanting to bring new fresh talent to the peeps of Huddersfield and get them away from the big cities to towns like ours so they can experience the tremendous depth of musical talent that is all around.”

On Saturday industrial noise band Satan’s Willy and Huddersfield’s own progressive punk rockers LaffMad will play The Parish.
