A DECADE of unamplified strumming is set to be celebrated in Huddersfield as The Acoustic Club reaches its 10th anniversary.

The weekly showcase of acoustic talent originally started at the old Abrahams bar situated on Westgate and has had about three different homes since its birth.

Not one show has been missed over the last 10 years apart from when the Tuesday night club falls on Christmas day.

The long running live music unplugged night, which has attracted musicians from as far away as London, is now set to celebrate its birthday this Tuesday, at its current home of Bar 1:22.

Doors 8pm ’till late.
