FIVE headed electro-pop geeks Hot Chip are returning to the live arena this month.

The British dance act’s fourth album One Life Stand came out last week and their tour kicks off on Friday, hitting Leeds O2 Academy on Tuesday, February 16.

Support comes from Norway’s Moshi Moshi’s, CasioKids and Greco-roman’s one man disco roadshow Grovesnor.

A second chance to catch them is at Manchester Academy on Friday, February 19.

Hot Chip formed in 2000 and after years of self-releasing records, they signed with Moshi Moshi in 2003 and released their debut LP Coming on Strong in 2004.

In 2006 they released their second album, The Warning, which spawned two top 40 singles, Over and Over and Boy From School.

Their third album Made in the Dark came out in 2008 with the track Ready For The Floor hitting number six in the UK charts.
