HUDDERSFIELD thrashers Evile have confirmed the main support bands for their upcoming UK tour, which kicks off in Manchester next month.

Joining them on the road will be fellow British thrashers Elimination and Mutant.

Each show of the tour will also see one extra lucky band opening the show, as chosen by Evile themselves and the readers of Metal Hammer.

Ten finalists for each gig have now been chosen from thousands of entries and fans can vote for who they want at www.metalhammer.co.uk from Monday.

Evile have only been back in the UK for four weeks following their epic three month tour of North America but lead guitarist Ol Drake has revealed the four piece are already immersed in recording their new album and rehearsing for the five-date-tour.

The Meltham-born shredder wrote on his Twitter page this week: “Played the newest song at it’s full speed today. Ouch. A good ouch though.”

Evile play live at the following shows: Manchester Academy 3, February 9, Newcastle Academy February 10, Glasgow Academy February 11, Nottingham Rescue Rooms, February 12 and London Underworld on February 13.
