SHEFFIELD band Reverend and the Makers are hitting the road in a bid to inspire debate.

On top of a two week tour (Leeds Stylus Oct 26) frontman Jon McClure (right) plans to hit the nation’s universities later this year to engage with young people who feel disenchanted by the current political landscape.

The project Instigate Debate has already held a forum at Leeds Festival.

H-TOWN supergroup Extra Curricular will turn up the volume at Bar 1:22 the following night. The hip-hoppers improvisation of jazz and soul returns to the town centre on Friday.

BLUETONES frontman Mark Morriss will be the centre of attention at The Parish’s monthly acoustic night on Thursday.

Local stars hoping to shine include Ruby and Noah with members of Extra Curricular, Scaramanga 6 boss Paul Morriccone and Huddersfield troubadour Tim Malster.
