Live and Unsigned

INDIE rockers RedStar have been praised by a former Stone Roses member after they finished fifth in the nationwide Live and Unsigned competition at London’s O2 Arena.

The final was judged by a host of music industry professionals, including NME new music editor, Matt Wilkinson, Kerrang’s Alex Baker and Bloodhound Gang drummer Adam Perry. Former Roses guitarist, Aziz Ibrahim said of the Huddersfield band: “Loved this frontman when we first saw him in audition.

Great attitude. Can’t take my eyes off him. I bet their gigs are pretty fun. Pure attitude with loads of ballsy music. Top front man!”

Music Radar magazine also gave the five piece the thumbs up saying they “ooze Kasabian-style danger”.
