A SONGWRITING duo have put out a call for budding pop stars.
Huddersfield writers and producers, Jack Nicholson and Josef Sykora, are looking to snap up talented singers for a production deal.
The pair, who have worked on tracks for a host of commercial pop stars, have spent the last three years building up material and industry contacts and say they are ready to help propel people up the industry ladder.
Jack said: “We write, produce and record music with a commercial and pop focus.
“We want people with a voice!
“As part of the production deal, we will write for them or with them, develop them, produce and record them, with the eventual aim of creating a unique image and EP to present to our already established industry contacts, publishers and labels.
“This is their chance to get working with producers and writers who can get material recorded to a release standard and pitched to the right people.
“Bands can apply, but most bands seem to have a good idea of where they want to go and have enough creative direction within the group whereas singers or solo artists can have an amazing voice but need help with direction or songwriting and that's where we can come in.
“As labels don't have the time or money at the moment to develop and work on emerging talent, especially talent based in the North, this is exactly what we would do for the artist.
“If successful then the recordings and songs made with us would be leased to a record company and get a full release.”
