RISING comedy star Alun Cochrane is set to road test some new material at the Hebden Bridge Trades Club on Sunday.
The Mirfield stand up has appeared on a host of TV shows including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, and Mock The Week and is currently hosting Frank Skinner's Absolute Radio show.
Trades Club spokesman, Paul Clarke, said: “Ordinarily the Trades wouldn't be able to afford Alun, but he's heard good things about us and wants to dust the cobwebs off after the Christmas break.
“He is coming to try some new stuff out on us so we are able put one of the best in the business on for peanuts.”
Support comes from Genial geordie Barry Fodds and Adam Staunton with Martin ‘Big Pig’ Mor making the short trip from Todmorden to compere the night.
Doors open at 7.30pm for a 8pm start. Tickets are £7 on the door or £6 online.
