A COMPETITION that has launched some of Huddersfield’s best bands is back for a fifth year.
The Revive Battle Of The Bands at Huddersfield University Students’ Union has been a launching pad for some of town’s most well known acts, including The Rag Tags, Silent Circus and last year’s winners Feeds.
Every year the event has got bigger with more heats being added, more bands playing and more people attending.
This year 55 bands applied for the competition with 32 being shortlisted to play and the organisers say they expect 2013 to be the biggest and best year yet and they have already got some surprises in store. Heats begin in late January with the final at the Students’ Union on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
