LONDON punk originators The Damned are breaking out of the big smoke to raise hell in the picturesque Holme Valley.

The band, who were the first UK punk band to release a single and album in 1976, are heading for the Holmfirth Picturedrome on August 12. In the words of Captain Sensible, “Catch us before we die.”

BUDDING producers have been invited to remix an album featuring a song from Huddersfield vocalist Pat Fulgoni. The Kava Kava frontman has recorded a tune on the new Hospital Records release "Hospital Accapellas" alongside big name singers including Diane Charlemagne (Goldie/Moby) and BBC Jazz award winner Liane Caroll. Pat’s vocals feature on the NuTone track "Beliefs" (2008) and there's loads of other tunes to remix on there too. The winner will receive a Hospital sample pack worth well over £150.
